This Data Protection and Privacy Statement relates to
information supplied by you on this Web Site and through any of your dealings
with us. Standard Chartered Bank, and each of its subsidiary, affiliate,
branch and representative office with whom you deal, the Data Controller
("SCB" or “we/our/us”), respect the privacy of your personal
information and will treat it confidentially and securely, even when you are
no longer our client. We will use, store or
otherwise process your information in accordance with applicable data
protection laws.
Any personal information provided by you to SCB will be used for the purpose
of providing and operating the products and services you have requested and
for other related purposes which may include updating and enhancing SCB's records, understanding your financial needs,
conducting credit and identity checks, reviewing credit worthiness and
assisting other financial institutions to conduct credit checks, advising you
of other products and services which may be of interest to you, for

common with other banks, we have to process payments to and from your
account(s) through other entities including other banks and operators of
financial payments systems. These entities may process or store the payment information in other countries
whose laws and regulations require disclosure of the payment details,
including names and addresses and other sender and beneficiary details, to
governmental and regulatory authorities for the purpose of fighting crime and
terrorism.

relevant, you represent and warrant to us that you have all the necessary and
relevant permissions of all relevant individuals to carry out the processing

retained by us for so long as there is a business need to hold the
